In-Office vs Home Bleaching

When in-office treatment is compared with the home bleaching, research studies at this point in time do not show that one technique is better than the other when you look at the results of both treatments after 6 weeks.

The difference between the two treatments is only the time factor. Zoom bleaching treatments can be done in one appointment in our dental office while the home treatments, which the patients do themselves, takes about 2 weeks to produce results. The cost of the home treatment is slightly less than the Zoom treatment as staff spends less time working with a patient that selects this treatment. However, patients prefer the Zoom treatments because they want to see instant results and do not want to deal with the whitening process at home.
